National Body Building Championship (Mr India)

Indian bodybuilders Bijit Gogoi from Assam and Sham Rahate from Maharashtra were declared joint winners in their 90kg class, a very unusual outcome.

This occured after Gogoi was initially declared winner, their followed some ugly and violent scenes as the crowds led by defeated Sham's wife surged onstage.

The finally judges changed their decision and declared both athletes joint winners to calmn the crowd! Gogoi  was taken away under police protection.
