My feelings about Brett are somewhat mixed. On the one hand, everyone has to agree that he was physically stunning, and it's always sad to see a young life being nipped in the bud so early (no pun intended). On the other hand, it's clear from the way he presented himself (on his website, for example) that he didn't take the gay community seriously at all, even going out of his way to portray himself as a conservative family man. In sum, BM was just a gay-for-pay actor, and nothing more. So, while I'm sad about his death, my feelings for him will always be marred by the realization that here was a guy who take our money and then play Judas on us (not that I'm implying we are Jesus, but you get my drift).
I just read your post johnsonking: Your comments about Rob and the gay community could not be more wrong. I had many a conversation with Rob over the years and he was very comfortable knowing a large number of his fans were gay. Not to mention he was a great guy and a friend.

I also had many many enjoyable hours with this man (gone now 8 months) - but every time he called to say he was in town, I dropped all plans and made sure to see him...Laughing, chuckling, amazed himself at how his spectacular physique could entrall so many...gay friendly for sure, and I'll always remember him as sweet, charming, fun,
